JCS Rainbow project 5th Anniversary
Samurai siege re-enactment by Fukushima students

JCS Rainbow project invites high school students who are actively involved in Samurai re-enactment project in Fukushima. They are going to showcase traditional samurai performances in Sydney in August.

吟詠吟舞錦凰流三代目-荒井龍凰氏 ( Samurai Performance by Arai Ryuou )

Arai Ryuou will perform classical Japanese samurai dance and singing (Gin’ei, Ken’bu, and Shibu).Come to see the ambience formed by the stylistic movements, together with the unique costume/objects used, including “hakama,” a skirt-like pair of pants used to be worn by upper-class people, dancing fan, Japanese sword.

Mosman Martial Arts Academy

Junko Hirabayashi

Junko Hirabayashi
Junko started learning Japanese traditional dance, Nihon-Buyo, in Tokyo. She is one of the experts of renowned Fujima School, Kanshima Fujima, as her head dance teacher in Japan. Junko emigrated to Australia in 2011. Junko regularly performs for charity and community events and private functions in NSW.
She also organizes dance workshops in Sydney.
